Headman Office 
Kawkhali is the third smallest upazila of the Rangamati Hill District of Bangladesh. The hill and the Bengali people are living together in peace, prosperity and cordiality in this upazila.
Its origins from the sensual rhyme / canal. It has got mixed with the Ichhamati river from the Kalachara area of ​​Ghagra union. Ghagra union has been named after this Ghagra rhyme / canal. In 1982, after dividing the Union Sanghatan Union into 4 unions, it is known that the Ghagra union was formed after 3.
